Bangkok 2

Hi to everyone, the other day I didn't have time to explain more about our arrived, so I will do it today. We arrived to Bangkok airport on time, after a long long flight from Zurich, flight that we catched just on time cause the flight from Stockholm was delayed ufff! once we were in Thailand everything went smooth, we took a bus to Khao San Road, where we wanted to find a hotel, we did, D&D, it's cheap, it costs 750 bath (15euros) for both one night with breakfast and the hotel is good, and if you want something more deluxe you have a room for 1100 bath (22euros).
Friday we explored around the hotel, we ate thai food and we went to bed, we were really tired.
Saturday we used to go and visit temples, we took a tuk tuk (a motorbike with two back seats), and went to see a few of them, but we ending up buying a suit for Markus and a trip for the next 12 days in the south of Thailand, why? well we find out that the tuk tuk drivers get a commison to drive turist to some stores, so if you come to Bangkok and a tuk tuk driver take you to a store that you didn't want forget about it and leave. From now on we are taking taxis, but yellow and green onces cause they are private and they are up to put on the taxi-meter, which is cheaper. We did see some temples.... and did some shopping in MBK a big big shopping center.
Sunday was Markus's birthday but the day woke up raining, so we decided to take a traditional thai massage.... the best massage ever!!! 1 hour and a half and it cost 350 bath (8euros). And for dinner we ate a great meal in a fancy restaurant and it cost 800bath (less20euros) incredible!!!.
Today we were again in MBK shopping some more and we went a in incredible temples, but I will write another day the names cause I can't remember them. And for the afternoon Markus took a bath in the pool of the roof and I took a face treatment for 40 minutes 250 bath (5euros!!!!).
Tomorrow we are hitting south, in this trip that we bought.

Hola a todos, la otra vez no explique demasiado porque no tenia tiempo, pero hoy tengo mas, asi que os contare como fue el vuelo. Llegamos a Bangkok despues de un viaje largisimo desde Zurich, que cogimos por los pelos ya que el vuelo de Estocolmo vino con retraso, una vez en Tailandia todo fue rodado, cogimos un autobus que nos dejo en Khao San Road, donde queriamos encontrar un hotel para alojarnos, y lo hicimos, D&D, aqui las habitaciones son muy baratas, cuesta una habitacon doble con desayuno 750 bath (15 euros) y si quieres algo un poquito mejor 1100 bath (22 euros).
El vienes lo usamos para explorar un poco la zona y nos fuemos a la cama despues, estabamos matados.
El sabado lo queriamos usar para ver templos pero acabamos comprando un traje para Markus y un viaje al sur de 12 dias, porque? hemos descubierto que la razon es que los condutores de tuk tuk (motocicletas con dos asientos traseros en forma de carrito) se llevan comision por llevar turistas a ciertas tiendas, ahora que lo sabemos no los hemos vuelto a coger, ahora lo que hacemos es coger taxis, de los amarillos y verdes que son privados y estan dispuestos a poner el taximetro que es la forma mas barata de viajar. Aunque si que vimos algunos templos.... y tambien hicimos algunas compras en un centro comercial enorme llamado MBK que esta en el centro.
El Domingo fue el cumpleanios de Markus, pero amanecio lloviendo asi que decidimos quedarnos en el hotel y darnos un masaje tradicional Tailandes, el mejor de toda mi vida!!!! una hora y media por 350 bath (8 euros). Y por la noche lo celebramos con una buena cena en un restaurante muy pijo que nos costo 800 bath (menos de 20 euros!!!!!!).
Hoy hemos ido otra vez al centro comercial MBK para comprar algo mas y luego nos hemos ido a uno de los templos mas bonitos de la ciudad, pero os escribo el nombre otro dia porque no me acuerdo hoy. Despues Markus se ha dado un chapuzon en la piscina del tejado y yo me he dado un tratamiento facial completo de 40 minutos por 250 bath (5 euros!!!!) increible.
Maniana nos vamos al sur a Kho Samui.
